Grand Rounds

The USC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is committed to providing excellence in education and training to our medical students, resident physicians and fellows, as well as physicians in the community.

As part of our commitment to providing excellence in education to our physicians, Grand Rounds are held weekly on Friday mornings throughout the year (September to June), featuring current concepts and techniques with a basic science background. The lecture series provides a well-balanced look at the spectrum of orthopaedic specialties with lectures from visiting professors of national prominence as well as local experts, including Keck School of Medicine faculty. The conference consists of two 45-minute lectures on both basic science and clinical topics.

The USC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery Continuing Education Conferences are held on Friday mornings from 7:15 – 8:45 a.m. in McKibben Hall, Room 156, 1333 San Pablo Street, Los Angeles, CA 90033.

The University of Southern California has approved the continuing educational conferences for hour-for-hour Category 1 credit in the California Medical Association Physician Certification Program and the American Medical Association Physician Recognition Award. (Please Note – No CME credit is given for Core Curriculum lectures)
